Hi! I’ve actually been meaning to do that for a couple of weeks now but I’ve just had other stuff to do that’s been higher priority. I can try and get another part done this weekend but I can’t promise anything (because I’m a lazy asshole).

You can get them on MTS here. That isn’t actually the one I have at the moment (I downloaded this one) but I just came across that newer one and I’ll probably grab it since it’s been updated and has Spa Day icons as well.
The icons are apparently in the game, one of the descriptions says they’re used for thought bubbles though I’ve never seen half of the icons used in-game myself!

Right, so, I think people are thinking it’s a little bit like Uni because it’s focusing on the YA life stage and the activities are kind of late teen related things – like going out to clubs, dancing, joining social groups etc. Which also mixes in with Nightlife.
Personally, I don’t think it’s related enough to school to be considered Uni-like, at least I hope not because I still want a Uni specific EP. I don’t know exactly how Uni worked with TS3 since I only played it for 2 mins but I played a fair amount of Uni in TS2. I loved my sims going off to college and having to go through freshman all the way to graduating, picking a major, studying in groups etc and then getting a headstart in certain jobs when they graduate. So Get Together, I assume, doesn’t have any of that, which is fine, as long as we get it later.
It does seem a lot closer to Nightlife in that it focuses on dancing, trying on outfits before you go out, the DJ booth etc. And yes, there is a dancing skill as well as a DJ skill! I don’t know about slow dancing because that seems more like a romantic sort of thing rather than going out clubbing but we’ll see!
People have been hoping for toddlers since before the game even came out and the uproar about it is ridiculous because as other people have said there was no hint of this announcement being toddlers. Literally any mention of TS4 news people latch onto the idea that it might be toddlers and it’s mind-boggling. They’ll be here when they’re ready and that’s all I have to say about it.
I agree, I think the EP looks great. I’m staying realistic about it though because I got too excited and hyped about GTW and ended up being a little disappointed because of some small things. Fire dancing looks awesome, I love the old ruins place, the town looks lovely and I’m sure the dancing will be hilarious.
I’ll be honest and say I won’t be happy at all if there isn’t any new traits or aspirations. Truthfully though, I feel like GTW had more reasons to have new aspirations/traits over Get Together does so far but we’ve only seen 1 short announcement trailer so we can’t make any huge decisions about it yet. I just wonder what kind of traits/aspirations they could include in Get Together, idk.
The one thing I’m really hoping for and can’t stop thinking about is vampires. Typically, vamps come out with the nightlife EPs and there’s almost always something supernatural added in each EP, so it makes sense right? If you go on the Get Together Store Page it says;
“There’s just something about Sims from Windenburg that makes you want to meet them all.”
And I just can’t help but think that something is that they’re vampires and vampires are generally very alluring and charming and people are drawn to them, right? AM I JUST REACHING HERE?
Overall, I’m excited and I can’t wait to hear more info. From what we’ve seen so far, I think it looks great and will add a lot to the game.

Nah m8, I’m not accusing Lexi of being a drama queen. To be honest with you, I just started following her after this drama hit my dash (I thought I was following before but apparently I wasn’t? Or Tumblr unfollowed her without asking me, thx bitch). If she’s been involved in drama before this then I haven’t seen any of it.
Also, chill out nonny. Obviously you’re Lexi’s friend and you want to stick up for her – that’s fine but don’t be so defensive of someone you know barely anything about and made a comment in jest.
I might as well say this now, I’m not on anyone’s side in any kind of Simblr drama. I think it’s all fucking ridiculous and childish and all I do is laugh at it. I’ve been around the sims community long before tumblr, I’ve seen enough drama that all I can do is laugh because if it was taken seriously I’d have a heart attack.
Maybe you just missed it. I go through my whole dash every morning so I don’t really miss anything. When I logged on for the day it was within the first few posts and I’m getting deeper and it’s just getting more hilarious.

Person A made some CC using a part of Person B’s textures and thought they had permission to use it. Person B found out and didn’t remember giving permission to Person A so got upset. Person B apologised, pulled links and discussed it with Person A then edited their CC to use their own textures instead and reuploaded. Check out the dramallama tag for more if you want it.
That’s pretty much it, but being Simblr, it’s being dragged out and aired in the open and people are probably gonna leave again, especially when SimSecret hits tomorrow and shit really hits the fan. So grab that CC while you can, just sayin’ 🙂

So firstly, all of my screenshots are taken at 3840×2160 which helps greatly with keeping good quality. I then resize and reposition them to 1280×720 (because that’s the highest Tumblr allows), sharpen and then add a brightness/contrast layer and a hue/saturation layer. I add a little bit of saturation to make the colours pop a bit more and I just play with the brightness on each screenshot. Usually, I’ll make them a bit brighter than I think is necessary because Tumblr tends to darken them a little bit.
