Is Brigid heir? Please say she is! I love her!

Hey! I’ve answered an ask like this before but I understand it would be hard to find since it was quite a while ago now.

Brigid isn’t heir as her mum, Eleanor, wasn’t heir and was classed as a spare. However, heirs and spares don’t really mean all too much in my legacy as I play them all equally on rotation. The only thing it really means is who gets to live in the main legacy house. Other than that, it really doesn’t mean anything. I try not to show favouritism towards any of my Sims and try to give them all as much as attention each other so even though Brigid isn’t heir she’s not going anywhere and you’ll see plenty of her!

Any surprise babies? What was the story?

So far, no! I haven’t enabled any kind of random pregnancy chance in my TS4 game so there aren’t any surprises but maybe I will in the future.

I do seem to remember surprise pregnancy happening in my TS2 legacy though I can’t remember exactly what happened. I just know that I did use ACR and took advantage of risky wohoo and I think a couple of times that did lead to a surprise baby or two.

TS2 nonnie again :) I’m so glad, I love your downloads so much! Truthfully all of them would be great, but if that’s too big of a request then I was wondering if for now could you possibly reupload your 2011 Secret Santa gift to Agent Carlos?

Hi anon. Yes, I do use reshade. Right now, I have 2 different profiles that I use, one for regular gameplay and one for playing with vampires.

The settings I use for both of them change quite a lot as I tweak and update them whilst I’m playing. My regular profile currently uses Depth of Field, Bloom, Vibrance and Lumasharpen. My vamps profile uses Depth of Field, Bloom, Tonemap, Vibrance and Lumasharpen.

Hey! Um just a quick question: Why do you (and many others) take screenshots using fraps or other programs and not the in-game function? I read in your FAQ that you size them down to 720p from 2160p.. Reason I’m wondering is cuz I use the in-game function and also get a size like 2160p (can’t remember exact size, but it’s not small!) so why do you use a program? What’s the difference? :)

Personally, I find I have more control over what I’m doing. The in-game camera is a bit clunky for me and to be honest I’m just used to using fraps as I use it for all my other games as well. It means I can organise everything a lot better as well. I’m not sure about quality as I haven’t compared the in-game camera to fraps but that could be also be a reason.

I resize them down to 720p just because that’s the maximum size Tumblr will host (unless they’ve changed it?) and I can’t be bothered uploading full-size screenshots to another host and linking them like I do on my main blog. It’s just too much hassle.

EDIT: Another reason is if you’re using something like Reshade, the in-game camera will not capture anything that Reshade changes since it’s an overlay. You need to either use the Reshade screenshot function or something like fraps to get those effects.
