TS4: 1 year anniversary; I think something big is coming. I don’t know what but for them to be quiet this long? Something is up. I think we might get a huge fall pack or something.

I really hope so. The silence is really worrying. It wouldn’t be so bad but they literally made that announcement last month saying we’ll be getting free updates every month and now it’s getting onto ¾ through the month and still nothing. I’m hoping it means that they’ll announce something and release it almost immediately.

I’m gonna estimate Tuesday because that seems to be when we get news/updates/patches the most. Also they said we’d be getting more news on Get Together this month and there’s no sign of that either.

I know, I know guys that it’s like pretty much impossible and there’s less than a 1% chance but I’m actually really hoping, lusting, praying that it’s gonna be vamps. I KNOW IT’S NOT GONNA HAPPEN, I’m just holding onto this tiny sliver of hope 😦

How did you make that family tree? Sorry for bothering! <3

In Photoshop, I made a template for the family member circles (gradient background, I think it’s a 4 or 5px white stroke on the outside for a border and a drop shadow) so I just have to pop them onto the family tree then add names, all the lines and icons. The icons are from here and I think the background is from squidfingers then I added a gradient background on top to change the colour. 

That’s pretty much it. I just make the canvas bigger when I need to and refill the background pattern/gradient to fit. I hope that helps 🙂

I just looked at your family tree and its really cool….but may I ask, what ever happened to Booker? how’d he die? Also why arn’t Eleanor and Isaias married yet? sorry so many question i’m just very curious!

Booker unfortunately died in a fire on the first day he moved out to live by himself (you’ll see that in the last few posts on his tag). It was meant to be a fresh start for him, away from his family (they didn’t get on well at all) and sadly that new life ended very abruptly 😦

Eleanor and Isaias aren’t married because it isn’t something that’s all that important to either of them. Valera did push Isaias to ask Eleanor as she believes every girl wants to get married but Isaias knows Eleanor better than Valera and knew that her answer would be no anyway so he never bothered to ask. They’re both very happy together and see no reason to tie the knot, especially now that they’re both getting on a bit.

You can “fix” that horrible bug by going to s4s, and create a standalone cas, and select the hair and colour you want! So it’s in standalone only with that colour, and it can’t change colour. It’s pretty annoying : For the eyes, just change the category of the eyes for facepaint

Thank you for sharing that! It’s nice that there’s a workaround but honestly it seems like a lot of work that we shouldn’t have to do (does that mean you’d have to make a standalone version of every hair in every colour for kids? Either that or all your kids would have to use a handful of hairstyles between them all to make it easier). This is a bug that’s been going around for a long time now, loads of people are experiencing it and nothing’s been done about it which is unacceptable.

As far as I know, this isn’t even an issue that only affects people who use CC – people are getting the bug with a vanilla game and to have to use a 3rd party program (which btw S4S is amazing and I love it so much but that’s besides the point) to fix the problem and it’s beyond ridiculous at this point.

What happened to Brigid?

She’s still around nonny. She’s just still a baby at this point and you know what babies in TS4 are like – boring and the same every time so there’s not much to update on that front. But don’t worry she’s gonna be making much more of an appearance very soon.

EDIT: I’ve just spent some time adding more to my queue so I’ve bumped it back up to 6 posts a day for now 🙂
