The only advice I can give you is to look around houses in your area, take some pictures and try to recreate them. You obviously can’t get floor plans of those buildings (unless you find out the company that built them and look on their website maybe) so you’ll have to do the inside yourself.

Alternatively, and what I tend to do if I’m in the building mood is to go to a website like floorplans.com and look for anything you find appealing. It’s great because you can input how many bedrooms/bathrooms you want, floors, style and price range.

My Nectarine Ranger Bungalow was based on a floorplan from there and I love how it came out. Just experiment and have fun with it!

For settings, I have everything on the highest possible setting and I run the game in fullscreen windowed mode at 3840×2160. I have no performance issues whatsoever and the games runs smooth as butter!
