Your Sims WooHoo’d Over 5 Million Times Valentine’s Day Weekend!

Turns out, your Sims really like to WooHoo!
Last week we posed a challenge to the community: if you could reach a combined 4 million WooHoos in The Sims 4 over Valentine’s Day weekend, all owners of The Sims 4* would be given a new gnome in a patch in March. And if you reached a mind-blowing 5 million WooHoos, there’d be two new hairstyles included as well.
We’ve crunched the numbers, run the data, and found exactly how much WooHooing was done over the weekend. Your Sims WooHoo’d at an incredible pace, from Friday night, through the weekend and continuing into Monday.
Wow, that’s a lot of lovin’! And a lot of babies. Great work, Simmers! We hope you enjoyed the challenge, and we’re looking forward to giving everyone a new gnome (and two new hairstyles) in March.

Here’s a quick sneak peek at progress being made on the Alternate Reality Experiment! As you can see 5 of the 8 sims have been made and seeing them together like this makes me super excited over the project.

This is an interest check in an idea I’ve had floating around in my head for a while – The Alternate Reality Experiment. Eight simmers create a sim each and pool those sims. Once all the simmers have all eight sims it’s up to them to decide how to run their lives, creating eight ‘alternate realities’ for those sims.
Here are my rough rules for this idea. If you’re interested in taking part please send me a message, and even if you’re not please consider reblogging this, please! If (by some miracle) I get more than eight people interested I’ll set up a second group of eight and so on..
Rules:
* Your sim can be of any age or gender, though obviously there’ll be a preference for adult sims as handling eight kids would be hard work!
* Your sim can use any cc you like but you’ll need to be able to provide links to the cc used for the other simmers.
* To be more inclusive please don’t use anything from Outdoor Retreat for your sims. (Once you enter gameplay feel free to take your sims out camping if you wish though!)
* Once you have all eight of your sims it’s your choice to decide whether to play as a single household or split them over multiple households. However you must actively play all eight sims to help shape their lives.
* Other simmers may have requests for their sims ‘Don’t change their hair colour’ etc, please respect these wishes.
* Cheats are allowed during initial setup to give a feel to your universe. Maybe in your reality the sims are all nobles who live in big houses, or perhaps they run a fancy hotel.. or they could be all homeless and you want to cheat away all their money. All of these are cool, but try not to cheat once you enter proper gameplay.
* The experiment will last for 60 sim days. (You can of course go longer or this may end up shorter if you have a lot of tragedies or everyone creates elders!) Feel free to post about your reality as little or as often as you like but use the tag #Alternate Reality Experiment so the other simmers involved can easily see what’s going on in your reality!
