It’s difficult to come to bed and be reminded of all the memories you had from before.

Brigid: “Listen, uhm…”

Doctor: “Yes?”

Brigid: “I do really appreciate that you asked me out and spent some of your limited time with me… But I’m just not in the right place for this right now.”

Doctor: “I apologise, I didn’t mean to judge or cause any upset. I understand you’re going through a difficult time.”

Brigid: “Yeah, it’s alright. I didn’t mean to snap.”

Doctor: “That’s not good, Brigid. Maybe you shouldn’t have had so much to drink, hm?”

Brigid: “Yes, I know that! I was just… Struggling. It was a one-time thing.”
