I can’t be bothered logging into my main blog right now so I’ll just post this here and I’ll reblog it later.
After playing the episode, reading theories and watching LPs, I’m absolutely positive Nathan’s dead.
- When you’re investigating all the clues and you’re reading Nathan’s texts, at some point, the texting style changes. It goes from text speak to full sentences.
- You find a text saying something about “it’s a business, not a hobby” and being disappointed in Nathan. It’s suggested that it’s from Nathan’s dad but I think it’s from Jefferson.
- After the fight with Nathan, he leaves to go to his room and on the way he says “my dad’s on his way”.
- You find fresh tire tracks at the barn and Max thinks they’re from Nathan’s SUV.
- You find Nathan’s jacket down in the dark room.
- Obviously, Nathan texts you as you leave the Vortex Club party but it isn’t Nathan we come across at the Junkyard.
I also get this weird feeling about Jefferson being Nathan’s dad. I know it’s highly unlikely but there’s just something niggling in my mind about it.
Obviously this capturing girls, taking photos of them and doing fuck knows what else is the family legacy. Nathan’s dad got taught how to do it from his dad and now he’s passing it onto Nathan. But what about Jefferson? Did Nathan’s dad hire him to get involved? Has he been involved from the very beginning, before Nathan? I think that’s why I have the thought of Jefferson being Nathan’s dad in my mind but I’m not sure it makes sense.
I also think Rachel dying was an accident. Possibly they accidentally overdosed her. I’m pretty sure the girls are meant to just not remember what happened to them, I don’t think it’s their intention to kill the girls. Wouldn’t there be loads more missing girls then?
