Definitely looking forward to the Maxis Monthly thing. I think going the way of being silent for weeks/months at a time was a very bad move and it makes everyone feel like the game is going nowhere and there’s nothing to look forward to.
At least now we have something to look forward to and hopefully hear news for stuff at least once a month.
The gallery update is pretty cool as well, I’m glad they’re paying attention to stuff like that and continually making improvements to it.

how much warning did they have to give people to NOT GET HYPED about this stream? they literally said don’t get too excited, don’t get hyped, it’s a small feature update. they literally went through and said everything it wouldn’t be and people are still mad it’s not a huge thing we’re getting??
i’ve played for like 4 hours today and i feel like i might just scrap all of what i did and all the screenshots i took because im just… hating my reshade and my editing rn. i spent a few hours last night making a new reshade but i just can’t seem to get happy with it and then i went to another world and it just looked horrible so i used an older reshade but i hadn’t updated it for ages and omg it’s all just such a mess and i can;t
do i continue playing… or do i edit the 190~ screenshots i’ve already got…
I feel like I suddenly realised how the sims 4 is being handled for the past 4 years and I’m so angry about it??? How are we not saying something?! I mean, we are, but how are we STILL not being heard at this point? FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LET’S STICK TOGETHER AS A COMMUNITY AND DO SOMETHING
4 years of one stuff pack after the other with RECOLORED THINGS and 2 new playable objects to try and reason why that’s not completely absurd. WE HAVE 14 STUFF PACKS PEOPLE. THAT’S $140 DOLLARS WORTH OF DECOR STUFF
they’re giving us 2, 3 new options to an object just so they can charge us more for recolors of it later on! It happened with my first pet clothing, the vines and plants from jungle adventure and even seasons with those windows that are the same as the ones from cats and dogs!!!
when they’re not doing that, they add the same stuff to a later pack instead of giving us new things like they did with the halloween decor for seasons

My seasons gameplay has suddenly evolved into something so much more than just experimenting with seasons because of a random event that just happened in game. And I’m super excited about it. I haven’t done anything like this before story-wise and I love it, I can’t wait to get started
i’m so conflicted…. i wanna start playing my legacy again because i love all of them and want to progress with them but i also want to keep exploring seasons in depth with eloise ahhhhhhh
