Yep I can also confirm that each new TS3 EP was $40! If I recall correctly, there was a Katy Perry edition of Showtime that cost even more than that. Although to be fair, I remember people complaining that TS3 EPs were overpriced as well.you’re exactly right & that’s the one i have btw! i also agree with you. it’s just that now people are saying that the new ts4 ep is too expensive even tho its the same price as ts3 ones, lol. i get that sims games are hella pricey but how can something be more expensive than another if they’re the same price??
I also just want to add that people are complaining about a $40 price tag as if it’s something that they’ll get bored of quickly and isn’t worth the price.
I’m fairly certain that anyone willing to spend that amount and is often on simblr or other sims-related sites will most likely be playing expansion content and TS4 in general for literally 100s of hours. $40 for over 100 hours of entertainment does not seem that expensive to me, when you compare it to $60 AAA console games or going to the cinema for a couple of hours which costs over £15 here!
So yeah, perspective. If you don’t think you’ll spend that much time with the expansion then don’t buy it or wait for it to go on sale. For many, many people $40 is nothing when compared to the amount of time we’ll spend with it and the new content it brings.
