@indielectualll I listen to music sometimes but when I’m doing editing for hours it gets a bit mundane and I need something a bit more engaging to keep me going. The YouTube recommendations are a good shout though, YouTube knows me pretty well at this point lmao

@ridgeport SAME. I love true crime documentaries/stories and I also like to listen to horror stories too (but not too much because I end up freaking myself out lol). Do you have any specific recommendations for channels/playlists/podcasts?

Anyone got any suggestions for something to listen to in the background whilst I edit screenshots? Preferably something on YouTube, like documentaries or podcasts or something. Basically something that’s interesting to listen to but I don’t need to pay too much attention to either.

I’m planning on editing the rest of the night (like the next 4 or 5 hours probably) because I’ve got literally 1097 screenshots to go through before my queue is up to date with my game lmao

Does anyone know if there’s a way to view someone else’s Tumblr with a different theme? Or even just with the default theme? I’m trying to read someone’s legacy from the beginning but I’m finding difficult because of their theme and I would never ask someone to change their theme just because I’m not keen on it but I really want to read it :/

1, 14, & 23 Love your legacy and Brigid is my fav <3

Aww, thank you so much ♥! Brigid is my fave too, and I kind of feel bad for some things that have been planned to happen with her in the future…

Legacy Questionnaire

1: When have you started your legacy? What inspired you to do it?

I started it back in September 2014. I started doing it because ever since my TS2 days, playing the game legacy-challenge style was the playstyle that I found the most enjoyable. I messed around with the game when it came out a little bit with freeplay but it wasn’t long until I launched into my legacy to properly start playing.

14: The most unexpected twist in your legacy?

Probably Booker dying on his first of moving out (which I’m actually still really mad about because he was the only kid to have Sofia’s red hair and green eyes and NONE of the kids since then have inherited that from her).

There was a quite a similar unexpected twist that just happened in my game the other day but it’s a long way from being posted yet!

23: How many generations are you aiming for? When you reach a certain milestone, are you going to continue playing or just wrap up the whole thing?

Well, I guess in the long-run I’m aiming for 10 generations but to be honest that’s not likely to happen. Right now, I’m just aiming for 5. Once I reach Gen 4 that’ll be the longest I’ve ever gotten with a legacy so I’ll be happy then.

I’ll probably keep going after that. I do get really attached to my sims so it’s difficult for me to just move onto something else and start all over again. I’m planning on throwing in some other challenges with my spares along the way as well.

Legacy Questionnaire

18:

Any surprise babies? What was the story?

So far, no! I haven’t enabled any kind of random pregnancy chance in my TS4 game so there aren’t any surprises but maybe I will in the future.

I do seem to remember surprise pregnancy happening in my TS2 legacy though I can’t remember exactly what happened. I just know that I did use ACR and took advantage of risky wohoo and I think a couple of times that did lead to a surprise baby or two.

I know everybody is the same and it’s been said 1000x already but I really miss Seasons 😦

Elizabeth is outside right now playing on the water slide at 12am and all I can think is “it must be summer right now because you sure as hell wouldn’t be outside at 12am in the middle of winter”
