Life is Strange replies

seri-plays replied to your post “About life is strange, I agree with most of your points but I don’t…”

@-@ From my nursing studies: depending on the environment a body can take a while to decompose. Assuming someone was buried in the soil in moderate temperatures you’re looking at a few days (maybe less) to the worst smells, depending on death type.

Hmmm, ok. Yeah, looks like that theory’s out the window then. I’m still confused about that photo then and when it was taken… Were they both alive but drugged at the time? Was Rachel dead but Nathan was just drugged? HMMM HMMMM

raindrops-from-a-brainstorm reblogged your post and added:

If you go with the “Rachel had Max’s powers…

I think they did overdose her, yeah. Kate was asleep/doped out for almost all of it, as Max comments on so they didn’t have any need to get rid of her. But Max says how Rachel was completely awake in one of the photos and looked pissed off, so she was well aware of what was going on which would give them reason to kill her. And on one of the photos Max also says Rachel has something in her mouth, which could be the results of the OD.

More Nathan stuff

I think this text on Nathan’s phone is from Jefferson. It’s from the 3rd of October, the day before the Vortex party where Kate gets drugged. The text says “You want me to treat you like an adult who can get things done on his own? Impress me”. So I’m thinking this is when Nathan drugged Kate and took her to the Dark Room to impress Jefferson.

About life is strange, I agree with most of your points but I don’t think Rachel has been alive the whole time because when Chloe and Max dig her up, Max has to back away because of the smell so it couldn’t be recent, right?

Ahhh that’s a good point… Apparently it can take from a few hours to a few days for a body to start smelling, depending on environmental conditions. So maybe Rachel did die before Nathan but I still have a feeling it wasn’t that long ago.

Maybe Nathan’s mental health has been deteriorating so much because of the dark room and knowing Rachel was there. That photo of them both is bothering me so much now.

Was Nathan wearing his jacket when we met him in the dorm? I don’t remember. Because we see it after in the dark room!!Your theory makes perfect sense. Even more if he was wearing his jacket at that time. Cause it would mean he went there after for sure. Holy fuck. She’s gonna rewind with that selfie with Warren. I still think the principal may be involved. That whiskey in the dark room. Max always points out about the whiskey…

Yes, he was wearing it when Warren was beating him up and then you find it in the dark room later so he was definitely there just before you!

Definitely the Principle knows, it’s probably one of the reasons he’s drinking so much. He probably knows but he’s under the thumb of the Prescott’s and he doesn’t know what to do. I don’t think he’s actually involved in it though.

Either Nathan is dead or he’s gonna save Max… I dont think Jefferson is his father though, just because I talked with someone in the party and they said they’ve seen Nathan’s dad once (in a football game I think?? I think it was Stella as soon as Max gets in the party. This game is messing with my head ugh

‘Nons, read my latest post and tell me what you think. Does it make sense? I feel like it makes sense and I’m twitching about it fuck.

Yeah, you’re right about the father thing, I totally forgot about that. I think the father is just working really closely with Jefferson. Fuck knows how many people are involved. I think the Principle is as well. Maybe he’s not involved but he sure as hell knows what’s going on.

I CAN TOTALLY RELATE TO IT MESSING WITH YOUR HEAD THO, I can’t stop thinking and theorising

WAIT, WAIT,  I JUST HAD ANOTHER THOUGHT

When you find the binders and you see the photo of Rachel and Nathan, Chloe says “why are they laying in the ground like that?” I assumed that was both of them knocked out, both having been drugged but it happened a while ago and Jefferson took the photo, that’s why Nathan’s all fucked up saying “rachel in the dark room”. But I just realised – they both might be dead and they both might have died JUST BEFORE CHLOE AND MAX GOT THERE. THAT’S WHAT THE TIRE TRACKS WERE HOLY FUCK.

So, Nathan’s dad met him at his dorm. They both went back to the dark room, possibly met Jefferson there. They doped up Nathan and Rachel, killed them and buried them both at the junkyard. Then Chloe and Max arrive at the dark room not long after and all that events of the party happened.

SO RACHEL MIGHT HAVE BEEN ALIVE THIS WHOLE TIME. MAX MIGHT BE ABLE TO REWIND AND SAVE HER

Life is Strange Ep4 Thoughts on Nathan

I can’t be bothered logging into my main blog right now so I’ll just post this here and I’ll reblog it later.

After playing the episode, reading theories and watching LPs, I’m absolutely positive Nathan’s dead.

  • When you’re investigating all the clues and you’re reading Nathan’s texts, at some point, the texting style changes. It goes from text speak to full sentences.
  • You find a text saying something about “it’s a business, not a hobby” and being disappointed in Nathan. It’s suggested that it’s from Nathan’s dad but I think it’s from Jefferson.
  • After the fight with Nathan, he leaves to go to his room and on the way he says “my dad’s on his way”.
  • You find fresh tire tracks at the barn and Max thinks they’re from Nathan’s SUV.
  • You find Nathan’s jacket down in the dark room.
  • Obviously, Nathan texts you as you leave the Vortex Club party but it isn’t Nathan we come across at the Junkyard.

I also get this weird feeling about Jefferson being Nathan’s dad. I know it’s highly unlikely but there’s just something niggling in my mind about it.

Obviously this capturing girls, taking photos of them and doing fuck knows what else is the family legacy. Nathan’s dad got taught how to do it from his dad and now he’s passing it onto Nathan. But what about Jefferson? Did Nathan’s dad hire him to get involved? Has he been involved from the very beginning, before Nathan? I think that’s why I have the thought of Jefferson being Nathan’s dad in my mind but I’m not sure it makes sense.

I also think Rachel dying was an accident. Possibly they accidentally overdosed her. I’m pretty sure the girls are meant to just not remember what happened to them, I don’t think it’s their intention to kill the girls. Wouldn’t there be loads more missing girls then?
