guys?

guys,

i’ve been playing the first gen 4 kid, who’s now a toddler and i’m jsut warning you now I HAVE NOT STOPPED TAKING SCREENSHOTS OF EVERY LITLE THING THIS KID DOES, OK?? so, prepare for their rotation to pretty much be 100% this toddler, for days

i mean it’s probably not gonna be psoting for like another 2 months but i’m just warning you now

so i just got back from a job interview and im eughhh

basically, i’ve been looking for a new job because my current job is only 2 days a week and they refuse to increase my hours which means i’m starting to really struggle financially. i’ve told them this but they don’t seem to care and i literally can’t keep living off 2 days a week, i’ve eaten into all my savings and it’s getting to the point where i’m going to have to start asking people for money if it keeps going on like this.

so, i had opportunity come up because i know someone and i had an interview with them today. at first, i didn’t think it was something i would actually be interested in taking at all because i thought it was going to be something to do with sales and basically having to be super social with the public all the time. turns out, it’s basically a receptionist job of welcoming people, telling them to take a seat and getting them tea or coffee and also answering the phones. which is like, half of what i do already (greeting people and answering phones). sooooo it’s something i could do and have the skills for.

BUT the hours are pretty insane, 40 hours a week and having to work 1 or 2 saturdays a week plus the occasional sunday though that’s supposed to be pretty rare. going from 18 hours a week over 2 days to 40 hours over 5 days + extra would be a lot for me. and like, it’s not something i want to do but it’s something i can do for the moment whilst i look for something else i actually do want to do and be earning pretty good money in the meanwhile.

so. yeah. i haven’t been offered the job, i’ll find out tomorrow if i have or not. so all this worrying could be over nothing if they don’t even offer me it. but i have a pretty strong feeling they will, so i need to prepared and know what my answer is.

the logical thing is to say yes. it’s a full-time job, which is what i’ve been looking for, as opposed to being stuck at a 2-day a week job which barely covers my monthly costs. so it would be stupid not to, i guess. it’s just not what i want to do and i’m worried it’s going to drain me so much

We just watched the Game of Thrones finale and I’m like? I dunno guys, I’m kinda disappointed?? I won’t spoil anything or go into any details because I know a lot of people won’t have watched it yet. But like, maybe it was just too hyped up for me and now I’m like eh, it was good but it wasn’t amazing or one of the best GoT episodes ever

You know what I LOVED in TS1? Going to the pet shop and going up to the box things and then being able to look through all the different breeds and pick one right there.

I know it probably wouldn’t work at all in TS4 but I just loved being able to do that, it was so fun!

I’m wondering if someone can help me with this rather specific thing…

A while ago, someone asked someone else WCIF the lighting mods they use and the person posted a screenshot of all the lighting mods they have in their game. I thought I’d saved it somewhere but I can’t find it anywhere and there was one on that list that I wanted to download and now I can’t remember what it called.

I think it was something to do with automatically picking the neutral white option for all lights rather than the yellow

Everyone is so volatile on my dash right now over pets and seasons and the expansion pack not being what they want. And some it is kind of gross and toxic in the way it’s being displayed, others are just really sad but just hear me out-

Horses existed in other packs, yes. Are they in this one? No. Does that mean they will never be horses in TS4? Not necessarily. I don’t have the liberty to tell anyone to calm the hell down but… I mean… *shoulder nudges* Chin up, relax. If not now then when? Who knows. But it’ll probably happen. We will probably get seasons and university and all those things we want. There’s no need to get excessive and grossly abrasive and upset about it. Keep your spirits up.

As for me, I was kind of sad it wasn’t seasons but I have one of the things I wanted checked off my list and that’s enough for me, personally. It’s something that The Sims 4 didn’t have, and now it has it (or will Nov 10th) so for that I rejoice. It shows progress that they are working on the content that made the previous games great.

Please read this guys.  I understand some of you are majorly disappointed this is only cats and dogs and we can’t control the animals and you wanted seasons or uni or whatever other pack.  

The sims team cares about us, they really do. They’re not just a money grabbing business. They finally added toddlers after nearly 3 damn years and it was FREE. They’ve been working on pets forever, we’ve known since before vampires were released.  We may not be able to control them, and that’s fine with me, I don’t want to. I preferred them in the sims 2. But I know it sucks for some of you guys, but for the sims team this is what made sense.  This expansion really does look awesome, this is the best the pets has ever been and I’m so damn excited we will finally be having one of the top packs in November.

Hopefully we get seasons soon, you never know, it could be a gamepack and come out sooner, we could even get another ep early 2018. You never know what’s going on behind the scenes.

You guys have to realize, it costs more for them to make this game, so obviously they need more money. That’s why they give us 10 dollar stuff packs every quarter. They also have budgets. I’m sure if it was all free for them they would be giving us all of this in the base game, but they can’t afford to do that.

I’m excited for what the future brings, and I really hope we get seasons soon. I hope we get horses, small animals, uni, and everything in between but it takes time. Patience is key.
