#1 and #11

1. Tell me the story of how you started playing.

I must’ve been around 8 or 9 at the time and my cousin had a copy of The Sims. I didn’t really know anything about it but I saw him playing it one day whilst I was at my aunt’s and I asked if I could borrow it. Well, he gave me a pirated copy of it and I played the shit out of it for so long. But at some point I came across the Sims website and I was desperate to download sims put up on the exchange. Since my game was pirated though I couldn’t, so I begged my dad to buy me the proper copy and that’s when the official obsession began. After that I bought every single expansion and stuff pack until TS3 where I still bought the majority of them but didn’t even play them man what a fucking waste of money ugh

11. Do you play with cheats?

No! Other than cheats like moo and full CAS etc. I’ve never been a cheater. The most I did would have been back in TS1 days where I did use money cheats a fair bit and just messed around. But when TS2 came around I didn’t bother with cheats and I never really have. To me, it just ruins the whole point of the game which is progression and expanding families. That doesn’t work if you just cheat and make them all rich.

Diablo 3 Season 4

Hey guys, I’m probably gonna be playing D3 for a few hours tonight now that Season 4′s started. I wondered if anyone here wanted to join and get a group going? We could set up a skype call (or ts/mumble etc, whatever is easiest for everyone) and just chill out and level up together (you don’t have to talk if you’d rather not, of course!).

Just leave a reply here or send me a message and we’ll try and get something organised! I’m on EU so I don’t think any US folks can join, sorry 😦

Hahaha yeah, I’m good. I do feel like I’m gonna go crazy, so much shit happening right now but it’s not the end of the world, y’know? I know things will most likely work out fine, it’s just hard to see that right now and I’m doing silly things like overspending on stuff I don’t need even though I know I shouldn’t.

I just want stuff to calm down for a while but that doesn’t seem likely and it’s just stressing me out. But I’ll be alright, especially with amazing people like you here backing me up 🙂

I don’t think simmers get enough credit when they answer wcifs and asks

Like that takes a lot of work to hunt it down in game and then find a link to it online. Then there’s the simmers who go out of their way to add a picture to the answer, give tutorials and tips for install and gameplay when applicable, and who provide alternative links when the download is unavailable. It’s such a common thing now a days for people to just ask for something anonymously, say a quick thankyou, and be on their way (which is great and all) but just because it’s a normal thing to do now doesn’t mean it isn’t still a lot of work, a lot of work that these simmers don’t HAVE to do and they definitely deserve more than just a quick thank you.

So I just want to say: You guys rock, every single one of you, for going the extra mile, for going into photoshop and making those wcif/ask page pictures gorgeous and pleasant to see on my dash, for taking the time to answer question after question, for being polite and so so very nice, for taking the time out of your day to help someone else. Even if I’ve never personally asked you anything or if I don’t know you, you still rock and thank you for all you do.

They say bad things happen in 3’s so you’ve got your 3 out of the way. Good things are in store for you for the rest of the year. One door closes another opens, and who doesn’t like opening new doors? 🙂

*BIG HUGS* I’m so sorry you have all of this shit happening. Hopefully things will turn around soon. This may not help, but when I lost my job last year, it ended up for the best. I went on to find a better job that I enjoy more. Good luck ♥

If its any consolation bad things normally happen in threes so your luck should be on the turn now. Perhaps this will free you up for a much better job x

Thanks so much everyone for all the kind words and hugs, it really means a lot. I’m just gonna take a chill evening and try not to stress too much about it then think about looking for something else tomorrow and just getting on with it suppose.

I really hope you’re right about the 3′s thing krazyangelkat81​ and simdoughnut​! It’s been a tough year already, I don’t really want anymore piled onto it.

I’m currently on the bus going home early from my work because I was just told my contract is being terminated and my last day will be September 30.

I’m not so much upset about losing my job because I’ve always understood it was technically a ‘temp’ position – even though I’ve been there for over 6 years now, since I was 16. It’s more the fact that it’s happened NOW – when I’ve literally just got my first car and I have to start paying for it at the end of this month. Like I joked about this happening when I finally bit the bullet and decided to get my car and then it actually happens, like what the fuck even.

Why is 2015 being such a cunt? First my bf and I of 6 years break up, then I lose my cat of 2 years who I loved more than anything and now I lose my job. Fuck man.
