2. TS1, TS2, TS3 or TS4 – and why?

Oh man, it’s really difficult to choose between TS2 and TS4. I think I’m gonna have to go with TS2 just because there’s so much more to do and in my opinion, it’s the peak of the series. Maybe that’ll change by the time TS4 has all it’s expansions and stuff but right now I think TS2 offers the best experience all round.

3. Favourite Expansion and Stuff Pack?

For TS1: Probably Pets because… pets!

For TS2: Expansion Pack wise, as much as I love Pets, I’d probably go with University. I think it just added so much and it was all done so well. It’s just really fun and enriches your sims’ lives. Stuff Pack, definitely Family Fun Stuff – THOSE PJ’S WITH THE SLIPPERS.

For TS4: Well we only have GTW so far, so I guess that lol. Game pack, I’d pick Spa Day over Outdoor Retreat. For Stuff Packs I’d go with Perfect Patio just because of the hot tubs. I do really like the clothing and hair in Luxury Party though. 

4. Least Favourite Expansion and Stuff Pack?

For TS1: Livin’ Large. I just didn’t really use much from it and found it kind of pointless. Especially since I never had that many parties or anything in TS1.

For TS2: This is really hard, I love them all… FreeTime maybe? I think for Stuff Packs it’d Mansion & Garden just because I haven’t really even explored it all that much.

For TS4: Cool Kitchen Stuff because as much as I love the ice-cream and the kitchen stuff, there isn’t enough of it. I do like all the CAS items but… I don’t understand why they’re included in a kitchen pack.

14. What’s your favourite world?

Even though I don’t play in it all that often because my main legacy is in Willow Creek I’m gonna pick Oasis Springs. I’ll get some spares moved there soon so I can explore it more!

17. Who’s your favourite EAxis townie/family?

Goopy GilsCarbo, of course!

Do you mean the statue? o: If you mean the games then that’s really sweet of you but they need to be registered to your Origin account to get the statue so that wouldn’t work 😦

I feel you, I used the same cd’s as my mom for most of the expansions and it would cost me $160 to get the ep’s I’m missing, which is, frankly, far too much money to spend on a game I don’t ever want to play again.

Oh man, that’s even more frustrating because you already have them but they don’t count. I wish they would’ve just made it so it was a time-limited thing, so after a months everyone got access to the lights/statue or even put it in the deluxe upgrade.

I know that someone cloned the lights, but I never saw that statue either. 😦

Really? Do you know who cloned the lights? Maybe they’ll take a request to clone the statue. Or maybe since it hasn’t been done already it can’t be done for whatever reason 😦

I am ‘missing’ three eps, and by missing I mean that 3 of my eps do not register and support can’t do anything about it since they are super ancient versions apparently haha. I WANT THE LLAMA STATUE GODDANNGIT!

WHAT!? Dude, I would be on Origin like everyday complaining at them until they fixed that. YOU OWN THEM, YOU SHOULD GET THE FRIKKIN STATUE!

They’re sooo good!!! I love them so much. Had to buy one for my mother not too long ago because she saw me have one :3

Aww, that’s really sweet. I want to share the joy of it but everyone I’ve told has just been like ‘riiiiiiiight, colouring books for grown-ups, okayy…’ Neither of my parents are all that creative either so that doesn’t help. Well, my dad is but more DIY and building things than drawing and colouring.

If you think you will then you definitely will haha! Yeah, maybe I should… I wonder if there’s any sort of communities involved around it that share their coloured pages, I’d totally be interested in that sort of thing.

Oh god yeah, they really are. I meant to just do it for 30 mins before bed last night and ended up still going for 2 hours… Needless to say, I could barely walk today because I’m so tired lol. Though I do tend to stress myself out a little bit when doing it because I’m really indecisive so I’ll be like ‘omggg I don’t know what colour to pick for this line HELPPPP’ hahha

I WATCHED THAT TOO and I was fucking winking at my screen like “HEY, HEY VAMPS, HEYYYY”. And then this news comes out and I’m just so confused??? Did something change? Was she not talking about a supernatural life state at all there? Maybe it’s something similar to the bear in OR, idk.

I absolutely agree that this EP would have been perfect for vamps. And I actually want supernaturals to come with each EP. It’s such a part of this franchise. There’s something hinky as hell going on at EA and I’m struggling to understand it.

Exactly. Things have been going so well since release but now things are starting to feel a bit like they’re falling apart or just like they’re trying to glue things together and bits are falling off. There’s just something weird and not right going on.

Hahah, you and your werewolves. I’m not a Twilight person but werewolves vs vamps is an interesting thing and something I’d love to play around with in-game. Did they do that in TS3, werewolves and vamps at the same time? I don’t even remember.

Yeah I am too and I’m a big supporter of the game.

Ghosts did come free but i doubt it will be with vamps.

I guess they are not going to do the supernatural thing. It would have been great with the groups too because you could have had clans..

OMG, I DIDN’T EVEN THINK OF THAT, THAT WOULD WORK SO WELL UGHHH. Then you could have rival vamp clans fight with each other and be rivals ;-;

The ultimate irony here is that EA *finally* listens to a chunk of the community and stops inserting supernaturals into everyone’s games (and potentially leaves them for a dedicated EP) and other people who wanted them are not happy. They can’t win.

Maybe they’re doing a separate Supernatural EP? While I loved getting a new life state with each EP I know a lot of people hated it. So I can understand why not now but I’d like to know when they’ll actually give us new life states.

I completely understand that they’re in a difficult position and they can never please everyone, they’ve never been able to, it’s pretty much impossible. I’m sure there’s a huge chunk of people who are overjoyed at no vamps and were probably not interested in aliens at all. It is a huge problem with this community and this type of game because you have so many different types of players, you really cannot please them all.

I would love to be optimistic and hope that they’re doing a dedicated Supernatural EP but I dunno, I’m just not wanting to get my hopes up for it and be even more disappointed. And I also just feel like it would be a bit off for them to do a Supernatural EP when they introduced Aliens in GTW. Like it just doesn’t make sense. Why would they introduce Aliens in the first EP and then be like “ok, let’s forget about supernaturals now and leave it till x expansion and we’ll just throw the rest of them in there.”

I’m just really sad because like I said, it seems like the perfect environment and scene for vamps to come back and it’s just tradition and now it’s being broken and we’re seemingly not being given any reason or explanation for it. And if we were to be given a reason it would most likely be bullshit or not the complete truth.

And I just want to make it clear in all this ranting that I’m not hating on the game or the devs here, I’m just disappointed and I’m worried on where the game is going at this point. I’m still excited about all the other things coming and I think EAxis are doing better than they have in a while but this has really thrown me for a loop. I love this game and I want it to be the best it can be.

Idk why they’re not doing a life state, if anything it raises a warning sign about how hard the sim team is being pushed to churn out content when it’s missing things :/

I was apprehensive about that and like, I was thinking about it in the back of my head and just trying to push it down and not think about it. But after this, it’s becoming more and more apparent that that seems to be the case. As much as I love, love, love getting new content as quickly as we’re getting it, it’s just not worth sacrificing content in an actual EP that people are expecting. I’m just so disappointed 😦

You’ll need an extension of some sort. I think XKit has it’s own extension, MissingE probably has one as well but I use Tumblr Savior. There is a bunch of them you can try.

I know I just reblogged that post about no vamps but I actually found out a few days ago from my amazing friend (hay nellie, i kno u lurkin) and I just… URHGHH.

I was skeptical but excited about Get Together before but now I know there’s no vamps I’m just really fucking disappointed. There’s always been a new life state in EPs and now they’re just like nah??? WHY. WHY FUCKING WHY.

Like I said in the reblog, it’s the perfect setting for them. Old European ruins with drunk (well, sim-drunk) young adults, out partying in dark crowds. I literally just don’t understand why they wouldn’t add them… Unless they’re releasing them in a free update but I highly doubt it considering Aliens didn’t come for free before GTW. Though they were tied to the scientist career really. What are they chances of them being free? Like, less than 1%. 

I’m sure there’ll be other stuff shown off about Get Together that I’ll be excited about and looking forward to but I’m just on a major downer about it all now. There’s just always been a life state in new EPs and this is breaking that trend and I’m just not happy about it at all. I want to know their reasons. If they have a valid reason then I could maybe understand a bit more and not be so mad but as it is I’m just… bleh.

Cool Kitchen will keep me distracted for a few days I guess.

I love yankee candles so much. It’s only really been this year that I’ve gotten into them because I always said before “who would pay that much just for a candle!?” but then I smelt the Candy Cane Lane one and I just understood. Now I have 2 full size candles, 2 baby ones and a couple of melts. I wonder if they come out with any Halloween related ones…

I’m interested in zoo pictures! I want to know what animals you have in your zoos. I’d never even seen a porcupine before I went to the zoo in Singapore, lol.

There wasn’t any porcupines but there were lots of other interesting animals and dinosaurs! I’ll try and get the album uploaded tonight and I’ll share the link here 🙂

I KNOWWW. It was totally by chance I got him because I was preordering the new Bioshock pop vinyls and just saw the Limited Edition Zero in recommended products and I was like YES. I didn’t know it was a thing until then haha.

Tsum tsums! And I love that Can’t Sleep Coloring Book, it’s so fun and one of my faves besides the Enchanted Forest!

Ooh, I’ll have to check out the Enchanted Forest – it sounds amazing! And yes, Tsum Tsums, they’re so cute! I’m gonna have to watch the website like a hawk for The Lion King collection to come out because I NEEEED.

Hehe, so cute! I noticed on the back of his box there’s a bunch of other Limited Edition TNBC vinyls so I might have to see if I can grab them too, though I don’t think any of them glow in the dark.
