I’M SO HAPPY EVERYONE’S SO EXCITED

What’s everyone planning on doing first? I have no idea what I want to start with, there’s gonna be so much to do!!

Just like the majority of everyone else, I’m loving the Cole/Charlie storyline & can’t wait to see what happens! I don’t get why people are creeped out by Cole though? He’s the one who set boundaries right at the start & Charlie’s the one who’s pretty much been forcing herself on him, ignoring Cole’s complaints. You could say that he should’ve cut contact but let’s be real – If I was 25, single and being hit on by a 17/18 year old cutie guy then I’d have a very hard time restraining myself too!

Thank you! I know, and in my mind he’s a really great guy that just wants the best for her. When I was thinking about what I would do, I actually thought the reaction I would get would be that it wasn’t like that big of a deal to be 17 with an adult.. 

No problem about posting publicly, I actually wanted you to for other people to chime in with their opinions too. I thought it would be a good discussion topic! 

I could understand if he was being a creep and she was saying no but it’s the other way around. She’s literally throwing herself at him and he’s denied her advances what, 4 times before giving in? And he’s only giving in now because she’s a young adult, not a teen anymore, so he’s not doing anything wrong.

I can’t wait to see Alana and Riley’s reaction after they said Cole wasn’t allowed to go camping and Charlie lied about it to Cole! I hope it doesn’t bite Cole on the ass though, it wasn’t his fault.

HAHA, I know! That was definitely my favourite of all 3 of the trailers. They’re doing such an amazing job of advertising and hyping up this EP. They’ve seriously outdone themselves.

  5. If you had to play the game CC-free, do you think you’d still enjoy it? TS4, yes. Because it’s still new enough and it still looks amazing without any CC. TS2/3 though? NOPE.
  6. Worst expansion pack? I honestly can’t pick. It would easier to pick one from TS3 but I didn’t like TS3 in general so that isn’t fair. And I didn’t dislike any of the TS2 expansions!
  7. Most desired expansion pack? This is no secret – PETS, GIMME ALL THE PETS!
  8. What’s the worst thing about the Sims? Uh, how addictive it can be?
  9. What traits do you overuse? I’m not sure I overuse any of them yet because I tend to just roll a dice

  3. Longest time you’ve been awake? Jeeze, probably something like 26 hours, maybe
  4. How did you find out about Simblr? Back when LJ was still popular and tumblr was just becoming a thing. I always said LJ would be my main place and I’d never move over to tumblr properly, ha!
  5. Bonbons or chewing gum? Chewing gum
  6. Why do you play The Sims? Creating characters and watching them grow is something I’ve always loved to do and there really isn’t anything else like the sims out there where you can mold a character from nothing and then do literally whatever you want with them.
  7. What’s your favourite simlish song? Vagina pineapple Sims Vacation
  8. Most awkward situation you ever encountered whilst playing The Sims? I… don’t know honestly haha. Uh, not really awkward but annoying. I made the whole Sabrina family in TS1 and I think I had to leave for a second, without pausing. I came back and there was a fire in the kitchen. First both the aunts died and then Sabrina herself ended up dying. I was so mad and ragequit playing the game for at least a week.

  10. What kind of a Sims player are you? One who likes building from the ground up, taking sims from nothing and watching them grow, watch them form families and  go through generations.

I was so excited about having my own cupcake shop. 😦 And now this. It kills the fun for me.

Well, you should still be able to have your own cupcake shop. They said you can sell almost anything that your sim makes and the majority of things from the catalog. They just won’t be able to sit at a table and be served by a waiter and pick what to eat kind of thing. I assume, anyway.

Honestly, kinda disappointed with a few things from the GTW news

  • No home businesses.
  • Only sims in the doctor profession can visit the hospital. If a playable sim is sick all they can do is order some medicine.
  • No actual restaurants or bakeries, just retail businesses. 

Those are pretty big bummers to me. I’m still really excited for GTW and I’m sure I’ll love it but those things were pretty disheartening to read. Saying that, there are more things I’m looking forward to from the news;

  • Having babies at the hospital confirmed (as well as NPCs having their own babies – though the wording is a bit confusing. They said the game will spawn pregnant sims, so does the mean already existing NPCs still can’t get pregnant by themselves?).
  • Customise mannequins with up to 30 outfits.
  • New neighbourhood – Magnolia Promenade.
  • Photography skill introduces filter, group shots and more customising for in-game photos.
