I absolutely agree that this EP would have been perfect for vamps. And I actually want supernaturals to come with each EP. It’s such a part of this franchise. There’s something hinky as hell going on at EA and I’m struggling to understand it.
Exactly. Things have been going so well since release but now things are starting to feel a bit like they’re falling apart or just like they’re trying to glue things together and bits are falling off. There’s just something weird and not right going on.
Hahah, you and your werewolves. I’m not a Twilight person but werewolves vs vamps is an interesting thing and something I’d love to play around with in-game. Did they do that in TS3, werewolves and vamps at the same time? I don’t even remember.

They’re probably just gonna make a big Supernatural EP since everyone was complaining that they don’t want life-states. Plus this EP seems to be a way fo EA to get rid of their leftover projects and then move on to new things.
I’m actually so fucking disappointed I really thought we would be getting vamps, it seems like the perfect setting for it. Old european ruins that young adults go to party at? Come on… I’m so sad and just, ugh. whyyyyyyyyyyyyyYYYYYYyyyyUSJAGSGH

EXACTLY. I can totally imagine a vamp hiding out in those old ruins that we saw in the trailer, ready to lure one of the sims away and turn them. I’M EXCITED JUST IMAGINING IT, EA PLS
Right, so, I think people are thinking it’s a little bit like Uni because it’s focusing on the YA life stage and the activities are kind of late teen related things – like going out to clubs, dancing, joining social groups etc. Which also mixes in with Nightlife.
Personally, I don’t think it’s related enough to school to be considered Uni-like, at least I hope not because I still want a Uni specific EP. I don’t know exactly how Uni worked with TS3 since I only played it for 2 mins but I played a fair amount of Uni in TS2. I loved my sims going off to college and having to go through freshman all the way to graduating, picking a major, studying in groups etc and then getting a headstart in certain jobs when they graduate. So Get Together, I assume, doesn’t have any of that, which is fine, as long as we get it later.
It does seem a lot closer to Nightlife in that it focuses on dancing, trying on outfits before you go out, the DJ booth etc. And yes, there is a dancing skill as well as a DJ skill! I don’t know about slow dancing because that seems more like a romantic sort of thing rather than going out clubbing but we’ll see!
People have been hoping for toddlers since before the game even came out and the uproar about it is ridiculous because as other people have said there was no hint of this announcement being toddlers. Literally any mention of TS4 news people latch onto the idea that it might be toddlers and it’s mind-boggling. They’ll be here when they’re ready and that’s all I have to say about it.
I agree, I think the EP looks great. I’m staying realistic about it though because I got too excited and hyped about GTW and ended up being a little disappointed because of some small things. Fire dancing looks awesome, I love the old ruins place, the town looks lovely and I’m sure the dancing will be hilarious.
I’ll be honest and say I won’t be happy at all if there isn’t any new traits or aspirations. Truthfully though, I feel like GTW had more reasons to have new aspirations/traits over Get Together does so far but we’ve only seen 1 short announcement trailer so we can’t make any huge decisions about it yet. I just wonder what kind of traits/aspirations they could include in Get Together, idk.
The one thing I’m really hoping for and can’t stop thinking about is vampires. Typically, vamps come out with the nightlife EPs and there’s almost always something supernatural added in each EP, so it makes sense right? If you go on the Get Together Store Page it says;
“There’s just something about Sims from Windenburg that makes you want to meet them all.”
And I just can’t help but think that something is that they’re vampires and vampires are generally very alluring and charming and people are drawn to them, right? AM I JUST REACHING HERE?
Overall, I’m excited and I can’t wait to hear more info. From what we’ve seen so far, I think it looks great and will add a lot to the game.
