I must say, I’m kinda disappointed with the announcement. I was unexpected and a nice surprise but it’s just not… Not something I was interested in getting yet. Nearer the end of the TS4 life-cycle then sure, but not now. Uni and Witches is much more important to me.

I’m also just sad that again it’s a case of getting less than what we did before in previous games. I’m sure it will be more in-depth with the stuff we do get but I can’t help but feel like it’s still missing things (the fact your sims can’t have a singing career or be in a proper band). Or maybe my rose-tinted glasses are too strong right now.

Either way, I can’t say I’m excited for the new expansion and I’ll be waiting patiently to see what they do for the next pack.

Definitely looking forward to the Maxis Monthly thing. I think going the way of being silent for weeks/months at a time was a very bad move and it makes everyone feel like the game is going nowhere and there’s nothing to look forward to.

At least now we have something to look forward to and hopefully hear news for stuff at least once a month.

The gallery update is pretty cool as well, I’m glad they’re paying attention to stuff like that and continually making improvements to it.

lol i didn’t look at my dash before i posted this and then i see negativity about the livestream and update and i’m just… i’m so sad that i’m not even surprised.

how much warning did they have to give people to NOT GET HYPED about this stream? they literally said don’t get too excited, don’t get hyped, it’s a small feature update. they literally went through and said everything it wouldn’t be and people are still mad it’s not a huge thing we’re getting??

maxis teased an announcement tomorrow at gamescom for the sims 4 and they used the sims 3 pets loading screen music as the background.

sorry but there’s no way this could have been an accident. They would have specifically had to have picked that loading screen music and if they just did that to mess with everyone then they can actually just go suck a dick
